Email Enkoder

It's been a whiloe since I've had to be concerned with encoding my email address on the site, but ran into a great little Enkoder from Automatic Labs. This may be old news to most of you, but maybe someone will use it.

Thanks to Dan Hower for the link.

Great article from USA Today. I'm not sure if this would have helped me more when I was growing up, but it certainly helps me in a couple of ways now: A) To explain my continuing obsession with my Xbox and GBA; and 2) provides some sense of justification to my wife of why I spend so much time doing what I do.

Not sure if she's buying it.

Four years since the last redesign

I first bought elasticsynapse.com back in 2000 as my own personal site. Since then it's had a lot if incarnations, but over the past 3 or 4 years, there's been little to no activity here. All that's about to change.

In an effort to maintain and update my skilz (yes - that's an industry term) and to help with self promotion, I put my nose to the grindstone and busted a move on this. It's the first time I've had something truly validate with XHTML and CSS, and I couldn't be more excited. But that also means I'm posting things a little prematurely as other pages get built out and to get some feedback from people.

Would love to know of the new playground, and certainly if there are any issues among browsers and platforms. I already had to hack things to work in IE/Win, and I tend to stay very Mac-focused.
