web & multimedia
While my first love is design, my latest obsession continues to be aestetically pleasing sites with a high level of usabillity. And code so clean you can eat off of it. These are just a sample of projects, past and present, that chronicles a variety of work displayed on the Web.
Delphi Commercial Properties
Delphi Commercial Properties is a full service commercial real estate brokerage company based in New York. I created the interface design and, using (X)HTML and CSS, built a set of functional templates.
Working with a back-end development company, I helped integrate the templates into the final, custom-built content management system. The final result is a clean, contemporary look that gives the client the ability to manage information for a large amount of properties.

hannahwillman.com
Hannah Willman is a performer and music teacher in the Washington, DC area. She wanted an online presence that would highlight her musical theater experience, showcase photos from past productions, and help garner attention for additional work.
With a simple, classy style, the site presents Hannah's experience with an air of sophistication and uses simple javascript for interactive photo galleries.

DLC Management Corp
DLC Management Corporation manages commercial shopping center properties across the country. They recently exhibited at the 2007 International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) annual convention in Las Vegas and needed some dynamic animation for a series of flat screens within the large booth they had reserved.
This continues to be an evolving project, with additional video and music being added, but the fast-paced, well-targeted video was one piece in a large puzzle that drew record crowds to the DLC booth.

Come Home to Yoga
This local yoga instructor/practitioner, Hannah Willman, specializes in yoga sessions taught in the privacy of a personal studio, your home or workplace. The goal was to create a simple site that emphasizes the personal attention and flexible schedule that individual yoga sessions provide.
Beginning with branding and color schemes, I worked hand-in-hand with the client to develop a look that reflected her philosophy and would appeal to a higher-end audience. The end result is a clean, contemporary site that fit within a limited budget.

Booz Allen Hamilton | Lean Six Sigma
Booz Allen Hamilton offers a Lean Six Sigma Community of Pracitioners to help its delivery capability for increasing demands for enterprise quality and speed while reducing cost. Ultimately this means streamlining processes and eliminating waste to increase efficiency and profits.
This Flash animation was played on flat screens at the Booz Allen booth during the Global Lean Six Sigma Summit in Las Vegas — an industry trade show. In conjunction with a presentation our Booz Allen design group made, the client said we made the others "look like they were in grade school."

National Council to Prevent Delinquency
The Council is a nonprofit corporation whose primary goal is to prevent the illegal or harmful misuse of legitimate consumer products, especially by young people. The Council is funded by the paint and other industries concerned with stopping such product misuse, and their Anti-Graffiti Project specifically focuses on preventing and reducing graffiti vandalism.
The Master Spray Paint Regulations Database is a members-only, password protected site that easily searches through state and municipal regulations from a nation-wide database, helping retailers ensure they are abiding by local regulations. I developed the design and usability structure in conjunction with the development firm, Evoch, LLC.

Nikki Chenault Photography
This portfolio was built for an emerging Southern artist based in Huntsville, Alabama. Nikki specializes in artistic black & white photography and has been featured in galleries throughout the South and beyond. Her excellent eye for composition and perspective also landed one of her signature pieces, "Heaven's Gate," in a gallery show at Washington's National Cathedral.
This Flash-based site provides an engaging level of interactivity and motion without detracting from the most important aspect: photographic content. Galleries are logically segmented for easier viewing.

Ants
When I was living in Tallahassee back in 1997, I took a Web design class at the Florida State Fine Arts department. I clarify the department because it wasn't about learning HTML. The teacher wanted us to focus our efforts on creating something that had meaning to us and he, almost offhandedly, told us to to look in our HTML books and figure out how to make it work.
Remember: this is the late 90s, and was my very first site. I give it to you merely for entertainment purposes. At the very least, my student FSU ID got me into the FSU basketball and baseball games for free.
